Characters like Liliana will help us put a human face on our antagonists, and give us a strong footing to have the Player relate (and maybe even seduce?) the "bad guys" in our story. We're really excited to introduce this plot line, because depending on how you play (light side / dark side) it could prove the most difficult elements to play. The Player is therefore faced with a bit of a Reservoir Dogs situation - secretly on a mission of "good" but perhaps having to do "bad" to prove their credibility.Īnd of course, that means saving Cassie from herself, exposing her motives, big explosive fights, blah blah blah, make up sexy times, the usual stuff. With Cassie, we really want to push the Player out of their comfort zone - she'll constantly be trying to pull the Player more and more into her world.

But you know she has her reasons.Īs we've mentioned in past updates, we want each of the girls to have their own unique "foibles" - essentially points of friction - that the Player (that's you) needs to learn how to navigate. However in Hush Hush, she has a secret identity as a gang-member that does odd jobs and quasi-illegal things for money. Lilliana has a connection to Cassie in our story, so we'll touch on that in a bit here. Her creator has been working with us via E-mail and Skype to make sure her personality and look is fitting their vision, and they were gracious enough to allow us to use her rather superb characterization for one of our more lovable villains. This is actually one of the characters that came about because of the Self-Insert tier.
How they describe her: the mysterious, ruthless, fiery and frankly a-little-scary "fixer" for our gang of antagonists.
